Happy times!
Well it sure has been a busy this past week. It’s finally sunk in that I am indeed pregnant - thanks to the few waves of nausea in the morning. Luckily it’s nothing a couple saltines and ginger ale can’t fix. Geno has nicknamed the baby “Baby Y”. I had my first appointment which all they did was take my medical history, blood work and registration. I will be seen at the hospital which I didn’t really want, I love my Primary Care Manager but she doesn’t do OB.
My first actual appointment is on March 23rd. The good news is I get an ultrasound on March 10th to get my exact due date. Geno will get that day off and I should be about 10 weeks along. The next ultrasound probably won’t happen until I am over in Italy since I won’t be 20 weeks until May 20th. `
Derrick
Derrick is Derrick. He had a lock-in at school last night so he is going to be sleeping the day away. He got his grade card last week. He received 2 “C’s” which is not like him. One of the classes I know what the problem was. he just didn’t like the class, it wasn’t what he thought it was. he took Pathways to Careers. He thought class would teach him about different careers and possibly start pointing them to careers that they might like based on their interests. Apparently, it was nothing like that and all they did was spend time reading the newspaper and doing scavenger hunt type assignments. The other class he got the “C” was Math. This was due to turning work in late or not at all. Basketball season is over, thankfully, and no wins were recorded for the Albritton Bulldogs. We are looking into basketball camps in Europe when we are over there. We are also planning on taking him to a Cavaliers game while we are in Ohio in April so if ANYONE has tickets or has strings they can pull we would be very appreciative.
Xavier
Other then the attitude, Xavier is doing well. he had a dance this past Thursday at preschool so he dressed up on a button-up shirt and tie. He danced with Arianna(I’m not exactly sure how you spell her name). He told me later she was very pretty and afterwards they “talked”. I thought it was cute and when I went to pick him up yesterday at preschool he was sitting next to her holding her hand. He’s been very good and had the opportunity last night to see (and feel) a friends belly who is due in a couple weeks. I explained that in a few months mommy’s belly will be big like hers. He looked at me like I was crazy.
Geno
I am happy to announce that Geno passed his E6(Staff Sergeant) board. This is a great accomplishment. This board was also the last board that he will ever have to go to. From now on his promotions are done by a review board that looks over his paperwork and work history - which is impeccable. We are hoping that he is an E7 by the time we come back from Italy. He has also received his orders for Italy so this coming week we are going to Port Call to get out travel arrangements made and transportation to get our packing dates. These dates hopefully will work well with our travel dates to Ohio, if not we will be rearranging some things.
Sarah
I am doing well. I have about 3 weeks or so before classes are done. I will be very glad. I have started to packing some stuff up, like clothes I can’t or won’t be able to wear anytime soon. After classes are done the garage will be my main task to tackle.
Well, that’s about it for now. I haven’t really taken any new pictures lately. I will try before I post again.
