Week One

This week has flown by! I can’t believe that Peyton is a week old today.  She is a very calm baby.  She sleeps at night for 3-4 hours at a time, which is nice.  During the day she is starting to become more alert longer but for the most part she sleeps.  Nursing has proved to be easier this time around and I’m very thankful for that.

The boys have adjusted pretty well. I have to still remind Xavier to be gentle when touching his sister.  Every morning when the boys leave for school Xavier makes it a point to say goodbye to Peyton and blow her a kiss.

Geno has been a great help around here, as well as the boys.  He has taken the task of dropping the boys off at school and also picking them up.  I’ve tried to stay home as much as possible with Peyton, though the times we have ventured to post it has been easy going.  Geno is off work until Thursday the 15th so I am enjoying all the pampering while I can.  We still don’t have word yet, and won’t until at least Tuesday, about Geno going to Germany for 5 days or not.

Xavier has bee doing very well in school.  He has adjusted to the Sure Start routine and has showed a lot of progress.   Soccer has also been fun to watch. I believe we only have 3-4 more games for he season - YAY!  Then I believe basketball will be starting shortly after.

Derrick is also doing well. He received his progress reports for the first half of the quarter and he’s getting all A’s so far.  We are hoping that he continues to keep his grades up.

That’s it for now…here are a couple pictures from this week
